This sweet boro dragonfly is perched on a mirrored base of watery blues and greens. Her body is a deep blue and her wings are a beautiful gossamer amber purple, which allow a view to the water below. The hole is 3/32" and can be strung vertically or horizontally. This bead measures 26mm across and 17mm thick.

This handcrafted sterling silver bracelet is a childhood memory translated into physical form. Growing up on Long Island, my cousins and I would collect beautiful shells on the beaches, where we spent most of our time, all year long. Our favorite ones were the small, thin, transluscent, softly colored, clam shaped shells which we called jingle shells. They usually had tiny holes at the point so we would make jewelry out of them and wear them all over, especially our ankles. I remember dancing around on the beach, making that beautiful jingle sound with my shell jewelry, like it was yesterday.

As I hammered the silver sheet to form the components of this beautifully lightweight bracelet, it turned into this memory. The wearer will be able to enjoy the sounds of my childhood every time she moves her wrist...
