Meet the Artists Behind Chase Designs

Greg and Deanna are the husband and wife team, that make up Chase Designs. They are full-time glass workers, who happen to travel full-time in an RV, taking their portable glass studio with them everywhere they go. As a team, they offer a variety of glass treasures; marbles, small sculptures, collector beads, and jewelry designer beads. Each of them has their own unique style, which translates into a wide variety of options.

Greg has always been an artist of some sort throughout his life. He holds a degree in ceramics, from San Jose State University. After college he spent two years in Ghana, Africa, working with the local village potters. Since then he has worked with a variety of art mediums including plexiglass, wood, and stained glass. He has been passionate about flameworking since 1999 and hasn't looked back. Greg makes marbles these days, but still makes sculpture pieces and beads from time to time.

Deanna has little background in art, having grown up an athlete. After college she spent five years in the corporate world, before she and Greg hit the road for their new life. With more time on her hands and opportunities to meet many other glass artists, she too became passionate about glass. She has been addicted to glass since 2003 and has developed her own style separate from Greg's. Deanna specializes in floral beads and fantasy themed beads, but is always trying new ideas and styles, to see where they take her.
